The XSel System

This isn’t random training. XSel delivers incremental development through structure, safety, standards, support, and accountability — guided by the pillar of movement mastery.

Speed Development

Acceleration & Mechanics

  • Start mechanics, posture, and rhythm
  • 10 / 20 / 40 tracking with retest guidance
  • Game-speed transfer (not just track speed)
Strength Training

Safe + Progressive

  • Age-appropriate loading and form standards
  • Bench / squat / dips / pullups progress tracking
  • Consistency over ego lifting
Change of Direction

Control Under Pressure

  • Deceleration, stops, cuts, re-acceleration
  • Footwork patterns + posture control
  • On-field applicability across sports
Plyometrics

Jump & Explosion

  • Jump mechanics + landing safety
  • Vertical and broad jump progress
  • Weekly explosion micro-cycles
Movement Mastery

The Pillar

  • Coordination, body control, and mechanics
  • Build the movement base before intensity
  • Better movement = better speed, safer strength
Film + Recruiting IQ

Play Faster Mentally

  • Film breakdowns + position tips
  • Recruiting guidance for parents & athletes
  • How to present measurable progress

Safety, Guidelines & Family Accountability

XSel is built to develop athletes — not break them. Safety and standards come first.

Safety Guidelines
  • Mechanics first: form and movement standards before intensity.
  • Stop if pain: stop any drill that causes pain and notify a parent/coach.
  • Progressive loading: no ego lifting, no maxing out without readiness.
  • Warm-up required: every session begins with movement prep.
  • Hydration & recovery: sleep, hydration, nutrition, and rest matter.

This program is educational and performance-focused. It does not replace medical guidance. Consult a physician if pain persists or if an athlete has a known condition.

Parent Role: Accountability
  • Parents set the standard: help your athlete follow the plan as written.
  • Consistency wins: incremental development beats random hard days.
  • Academics matter: student-athlete standards are part of the identity.
  • Communication: report injuries, limitations, or schedule barriers early.
  • Track progress: measurables only matter if they’re updated consistently.
